Wednesday the 10th of December, we took Carsyn to Primary Children's to have his little big toe cut down. The surgery was performed by Dr. Rockwell who happens to be Chief of staff at the U of U so we knew we were in good hands. The surgery went well. I think it was harder on me than it was on him. After being in recovery he did real well and we were able to go home an hour later. Surgery time was from 8:30 am till about 9:45 am, then recovery till 11:30 am and we were on our way home. That night he was on his pain medication pretty regularly but he didn't seem to lose sleep or act like he was in any type of pain. Below are some before and after pictures. I'm just so glad there weren't any complications and that he is healing up fine.
